Very comfortable beds, John slept well but I woke about 2.30pm and my mind started reviewing the past 6 weeks, I finally got back to sleep about 6.30am. We had thick, home made raisin toast for breakfast, yum what a luxury. We chatted to the Americans who were leaving this morning on a Twin Otter to start their canoe trip. Later we watched them load and take off. God knows how they are going to portage all their gear. We also checked out the Northern Store and Scotts General Store which is similar to Robertson’s Trading Post in La Ronge. It looks like we will be able to get much of what we will need next year however I plan to bring much more from Australia.

Watching the American canoeists load up, there was an equal amount of stuff still on the pick-up truck, good job a Twin Otter can carry a lot!

After lunch we tackled the sorting of all our gear into staying and returning to Australia piles. We then took the staying gear up to the motel for storage. Tea tonight was a celebration for Scotty a pilot from Tennessee who was turning 40, yummy birthday cake. Everyone came back to the Lodge for a birthday drink and so we didn’t get to bed until midnight.
